Bio:

I Won my first skate in a raffle when I was 11 on Chrismas eve  at the mall near my house where I grew up in Issaquah,  It was a Billy Ruff pro model, he was there to give it away and signed it for me,  I caught the stoke.  That was like1986.  I had always wanted a skate but parents weren’t all about it. Back then I promised my self then that I would never quit skating regardless of how old I get which I eventually fail to hold when I got a car and all my skate bros hung up the boards or moved away.  In 1996 I visited France for my cousins wedding, I was really into surfing at that time and was only an hour from Biaritz. The first night was sitting by the beach and this dude came ripping out of this ally on a longboard barefooted.  Came up silent, ripped past and was gone like a dream.  I had to do this.  I got back stateside  and found sector nines at my local skate shop.  after a few test cosmic 42" with pivot trucks and the blue wheels was my choice. After a few years of working up some speed on that deck.  I ran into Gary Hardwick who was in town for the 1998 Redbull race in Seattle on California street.  He looked at my set up and gave me a card to the TVS website where I saw a speedboard for the first time and then it was on.
